Well, this is set up to be about me. Yippie. Well, to start off, I'm an 18 year old Jew from West Texas who enjoys: Star Trek, Sci-Fi, Theater, Reading, Hanging out with (nearly non existant) friends, and IRCing. I recently graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, and this fall I am attending Texas Tech University with a Major in Computer Science.

I currently live with my mother in Midland Texas. Our house has has 4 people, Me (of course), My mother, my Stepdad Judd, and my stepsister Jessi. Louise (My Mother) is a great woman, who cares about me alot. She is a Speech Language Pathologist Specialist for the local schools in Odessa. Judd is the technical director for the Permian Playhouse. He's cool. Jessi, is my good for nothing stepsister. As you can probably tell, we don't get along. It's not my fault that SHE'S A BRAT!

On the other side of the coin is my dad, stepmom, and more stepsiblings. Chet is my dad. At times he's really cool. Other times.... Dad is the most computer literate in the family, with me maybe being the exception. We each have our strong suits. Jan is my stepmom. Unfortuatly, we don't get along great, but we do have our moments. Jan has two kids, Debbie, and Jeremy, both of who are grown up. Debby's even married, and I'm Uncle Nick, now because she's had a baby. =] Dad and Jan live in El Paso.

Yes, there is more..now..ok, more about me..=/ as I said earlier, I am a Trekkie. My favorite Alien is the Horta, not to be mistaken with the Vorta of DS9. The Horta is native to the planet Janus VI. It eats rocks, people, people's legs, phasers, my homework (honest), very small rocks, and pretty much everything else cept Spam and tribbles. They are phaser resistant, and when not rusting (Si based life rusts in a O2 atmosphere. To solve this problem, Hortas are sprayed with a Teflon substance to shield their "skin" from the hormful O2. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, neither does anyone else.) are practicaly phaser proof. They live for 50,000 years, when all but one dies.

My "nick"name is derived from a Horta in three novels by Diane Duanne - Spock's World, My Enemy, My Ally, and The Romulan Way. "His" name is Naraht. I'm not sure on the pronouceation (or my spelling). In the novels he is very young, and very inexpeirianced. On IRC, my Naraht is in his "teenage" years. He, like me, is headstrong, and independant.

College is fine. I am enjoying now that I'm the net. Hehehe. My roommate is John Baird. He's pretty cool, but some of his friends are a bit annoying. =\ I am a bit angry due to the fact that the Hillel appears to be non existant here. I'll keep searching.
